Don't you think someone would have found something amiss if they weren't lunar rock?Also, what solar flare are you referring to? There was no significant solar flares at the time the Astronauts were on the moon.

If you went inside there wouldn't be much to see as I'm sure most of the instruments and equipment have been stripped out by NASA
